STRENGTH.
Battered and bruised, torn and withered,
Beaten and worn, tired, helpless and hopeless.
Captivity had not been gracious.
But in fear, she never cowered.
In shame, she held her head high.
And even in death, she didn’t cry.
For the Master said, “To shed tears is weakness; to admit pain is defeat and utter stupidity, and to sag in the face of danger is cowardice.”
